FAQs

All You Need To Know

Do you offer insurance?

The boat is insured and the insurance paperwork stays in the boat, and it is insured for renters. However, you, the renter, are still responsible for all damages.  The boats have catastrophic insurance.  Which means, there is a high deductible, but major damages are likely covered by our insurance.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major forms of payment. Venmo, Paypal, Discover, Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

What do I need to rent a boat?

You need to be at least 21 years old, and keep a working credit card on file as a deposit. You also need to provide a tow vehicle.

Deposit for the boat is $500, and is fully refundable if you bring the boat back in the same condition you took it out in.

How do I tow the boat?

You will need a 2" ball to tow any of our trailers.

What if I don't have a towing vehicle?

There are a few options we have, but the most common is simply renting a truck. Uhaul is an option, as is Turo (AirBnb-style car rental website)

What if I need additional equipment?

We will provide, at no additional cost:
Boat, trailer, wakeboard, wake surfboard, knee board, slalom ski, water skis, tow line, anchor with ropes, life jackets and more!

Who can drive the boat?

Anyone over the age of 21 with a valid drivers license.

How long does the gasoline last?

Depending on how hard you push the boat, the fuel will last about 8-12 hours driving time.

Is gasoline provided?

We will give you a full tank of gas, we expect it to be returned with a full tank.

If the tank is not returned full, we will take $7/gallon out of your deposit.

Where can I use the boats?

Any fresh water lake in the state of Utah.  If used at a Lake with quaga-mussels (Lake Powell), we ask that the boat be decontaminated upon leaving the marina.

When do we pick up?

We can be flexible, but generally the boats are picked up in morning of, or the night before your reservation at 8:00 pm if the boat is available.

If you need to pick up super early, or drop off super late, we can work with you at a small additional cost.

What happens if I damage the product?

During check-out we go through a damage check list diagram, and take many photos of the boat and equipment to ensure that both the renter, and the company is protected in-case of any discrepancies in damages.

If any damages are the fault of the renter they will be responsible to repair the damages.

What is your policy for damaged products?

You are responsible for all damages, so please, slow down!  We are going to send you out with a fantastic product and we expect our customers to return it that way!

A credit card will go on file, and a fully refundable $500 deposit will be refunded to you as soon as you return our goods in working order.

How many people fit in your boats?

The Heyday WT-1 fits 9 people.
